Presbyterian Women

The Coordinating Team of WNPW meets in March, May, August and November to plan the activities during the year. The CT is comprised of the Moderator, Vice-Moderator, Secretary, Treasurer, Asst. Treasurer, Search Committee, chairs of the Service, Ways and Means, and Mission Committees, Liaisons to Redstone Highlands and Johnstown Home and four members at large.

The activities each committee is responsible for are:

Mission: Lucy James, chair

Service:
Winnie Davis, chair

Ways and Means:

Program:
Judy Oblack, chair

The United Circle meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month, except June, July, & August in the Social Room at noon. Everyone is welcome to attend and bring a sandwich to share for lunch. Volunteer hostesses provide dessert, which is a celebration of the members' birthdays that month. A short information meeting follows, led by circle leaders, Winnie Davis, and Donna Yelich. Afterwards Dorothy Come presents the Bible Study. Presently we are studying “Above and Beyond: Hearing God's Call in Jonah and Ruth.” All members are encouraged to pray for and send cards to the people on our Concern List.

Events:

Scholarships:

Through the Jean Day Fund, registration is paid for any WNPW member to attend the Synod or Churchwide Gatherings.
